Services

Microblading

Microblading is a manual technique considered to be semi-permanent makeup or cosmetic tattoo, also known as eyebrow embroidery, micro-stroking or 3D brows. This procedure allows the artist to enhance the appearance of your brows, or to fully create a new shape, by manually placing pigments in the upper layers of the skin in the form of hair like strokes that can hardly be distinguished from real hair, providing an incredibly natural look.

Powder brows

Powder Brows are created with a micropigmentation machine and it is recommended for customers that want a soft or darker ombre makeup look. This procedure is also recommended for customers that are not good candidates for microblading due to either previous permanent makeup, large pores or oily skin.

Manual Brow Shading

Manual brow shading technique is performed manually with a microblading pen. It is a perfect way to give your microbladed eyebrows a thicker, bolder makeup look. It is normally done on top of your microbladed eyebrows. When done in combination with microblading, the treatment is often referred to as combo-brows. Manual shading is a semi-permanent technique like microblading.

Eyelash Extensions

Eyelash extensions are very popular today because bold lashes dramatically enhance a woman’s appearance! However not all eyelash extensions are the same, and neither are all lash extension artists. When performed correctly by a qualified lash artist, it should be hard to notice the difference between natural lashes and lash extensions.

Brow Henna

Henna brows are a form of eyebrow tinting that is used to stain the skin beneath the brow hairs. The purpose of this is to cast a shadow or create an illusion of depth and fullness in the area, visually filling in any sparseness. Henna is natural dye made from a plant known as hina or the henna tree.

At, Lucious Beauty Bar, we provide brow tinting classes near Southington connecticut
Brow Tinting

Eyebrow tinting is the process of applying semi-permanent dye to enhance, shape, and define your brows.
Brow tinting gives the appearance of thicker, more accentuated brows with the goal being to match your natural brow color whenever possible.

Brow Lamination

Brow lamination is a keratin based treatment that tames unruly hairs and sets them in place for a fluffy just-combed look for up to 6 weeks. This keratin treatment not only stimulates growth while strengthening the brow hairs, but creates thick, fluffy, and full brows. The service includes brow waxing and tinting to define and shape the brows.

Browshaping

Your brow shaping service will be unlike any other you’ve experienced you’ll even receive a Brow mini massage.

Your appointment will begin with a customized consultation. No face shape is the same. Each shaping consists of measuring facial features and determining hair growth patterns. Brows are then trimmed, waxed by a special type of wax and twee-zed, followed by a natural brow fill-in to enhance the brow. You may also have the option for a brow tint.

Frequent Asked Questions

It takes approximately 7-14 days for the brows to heal over, and about 1 month for the color to fully set in.

If it is performed properly, microblading should last anywhere between 18 and 24 months. Once pigment from the procedure begins to noticeably fade, you’ll need to come back for a “touch-up” application. Touch-ups can be necessary every six months or every year, depending on your skin type and preferred look.

We use a topical anesthetic so there is very little discomfort. In fact, many clients fall asleep during the treatment!

The cost of a touch up depends on the length of time since your previous treatment. The longer the time, the more pigment has likely faded, the more work needs to be done to touch up your brows. We will review all pricing with you in your consultation!

You will have very clear instructions for aftercare, which is essential in the healing process in order to achieve the best results. There are certain limitations regarding sun exposure, sweating, going in a pool, etc. for a brief time after the treatment.
